Overview of Evergreen Country Day School

In our early childhood program, we combine socialization, early life skills, and a foundation in academics. Small classes and a dedicated faculty provide a nurturing environment for the children. Preschool students also receive special instruction in arts, music, and foreign language.

Our elementary school, Kindergarten through 5th grade, follows a self-contained model of core academic subjects. Specialists teach foreign language, arts, music and physical education. Our elementary program prepares students for a successful middle school experience.

Our middle school currently serves students through eighth grade. The program is designed to provide an increased level of academic independence and responsibility in preparation for secondary school. Study of foreign language, arts, and music are combined with increased extra-curricular and athletic opportunities for the students.

These three schools provide age-appropriate learning groups for the students, and when combined they provide an uninterrupted scope and sequence of skills and content that will inspire and prepare our children for a lifelong journey of learning.

In working toward the goal of educating both academically prepared and socially responsible young people, we place an emphasis on giving back to the community.

Community service is an integral part of our program. Evergreen Country Day School emphasizes a partnership with its families. This manifests itself through close communication between school and home. Academic and social development is enhanced when parents play a role in their child's educational development.
