Elementary School Program

Our elementary school, Kindergarten through fifth grade, follows a self-contained model of core academic subjects. Specialists teach foreign language, art, music, and physical education.

Our elementary program prepares students for a successful middle school experience. Technology as a supporting tool is introduced in Kindergarten, and students use increasingly complex applications of technology as they move through the elementary grades.

Beginning with Kindergarten the students use the Everyday Mathematics Curriculum. This program is not only popular among students and teachers, but has had a proven impact on students test scores in math. Language Arts has adopted the Houghton Mifflin Reading Program in grades K-3. This tested program with proven results is a comprehensive approach in reading, spelling, grammar, and writing skills.  It provides award winning literature and leveled books to reach all learners.
